How to take the perfect palm photo
Use natural light
Daylight near a window beats any lamp. Flash and harsh overhead light throw shadows that hide the finer lines, so let soft, even light fall across your palm.
Hold your palm flat, shoot from directly above
Open your hand fully, fingers relaxed and slightly apart, and hold the camera straight above your palm so it fills the frame. Shooting at an angle distorts the lines.
Scan your dominant hand
Photograph the hand you write with, in the same flat, well-lit position. Palmists read it as your current story.
Your phone camera is enough
Almost all our users read from their phones, so no special gear is needed. Use the rear camera, tap your palm on screen to focus, hold steady for a second, and skip filters and zoom.
Palm scanner FAQ
Is the palm reading scanner free?
Yes. Scanning your palm and getting your reading costs nothing; you just sign in so we can save it to your account. The only paid item is the optional detailed report at $12.99, and new accounts get $5 in free credits, which covers it.
How does the AI scan actually work?
The AI examines your photo and identifies the real lines on your hand: heart, head, life, fate, marriage and money lines, plus the mounts. It then interprets what it sees through traditional palmistry. That last part matters: palmistry is a centuries-old practice and a mirror for self-reflection, not a science, so read the result as perspective, not prophecy.
Which hand should I scan?
Your dominant hand, the one you write with. Most palmists read it as your present life and choices, while the non-dominant hand shows inborn temperament. We ask which hand you uploaded so your reading is framed correctly.
Do you store my palm photo?
No. The photo exists only for the seconds it takes to read it, then it is gone for good. Only the written reading is saved to your account so you can revisit it without uploading anything again.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes, and that is how most people arrive here: about 89% of our users are on their phones. It runs right in your mobile browser, and your phone camera doubles as the scanner. Just take the photo in good light.
What languages are supported?
English plus 12 Indian languages. Choose your language on the site and your reading arrives in it, which also makes it easy to share with family in the language they are most comfortable reading.
What does the $12.99 detailed report add?
The free reading covers your main lines. The detailed report goes much deeper: a fuller decode of every line, a life map that ties timing on your lines to your birth details, and remedies explained rather than just listed. It costs $12.99, stays in your account to revisit anytime, and your $5 welcome credits cover it.
Can I rescan or change my hand later?
Yes, anytime. Upload a new photo and the fresh reading replaces your previous one; each account keeps one current palm reading. Palmists traditionally say a hand's finer lines change over time, so feel free to rescan whenever you want a fresh look.
